This Privacy Policy explains how CodeSchnell ("we", "our") handles information when you use the Teleprompter Voice Scrolling app ("the App"). We built this app with a simple principle: your content belongs to you and stays on your device.

1. Your Scripts and Recordings Stay On Your Device

Everything you create — scripts, folders, tags, and recorded videos — is stored locally on your device only. We do not upload, collect, or store your scripts, recordings, or any of your content on our servers. There is no account system and no cloud syncing.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect your scripts or recordings.
We do not collect your name, email address, or any personal contact information.
We do not collect or sell your data to third parties.
We do not serve ads or use advertising identifiers.

3. Device Permissions

The App requests certain device permissions only when needed, and only for the feature you are using:

Camera & Microphone — used only while you are recording a video. Recordings are saved locally on your device.
Speech Recognition — used for the optional "voice-following" scroll feature, so the teleprompter can follow your reading. Voice recognition is processed using Apple's on-device speech engine.
Photo Library — used only when you choose to save a recording to your Photos.

You can enable or disable these permissions at any time in your device's Settings app.

4. Purchases and Subscriptions

The App offers an optional "Pro" subscription. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store, and subscription management is handled by RevenueCat, a third-party service that provides subscription infrastructure. RevenueCat may process limited purchase-related information (such as your subscription status) to enable features. Payment details are handled entirely by Apple and are never visible to us. 5. Third-Party Services

Apple (App Store / StoreKit) — processes payments and purchases.
RevenueCat — manages subscription status and entitlements.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date.
