Video Cutter & Joiner is designed to trim and merge videos on your device. The app does not upload your selected videos to our servers.

This Privacy Policy applies to the Android app named Video Cutter & Joiner.

2. Information We Collect

The app may access videos that you choose through Android's Photos/Gallery picker or Files picker. These videos are used only to provide the editing features you request, such as trimming clips or joining multiple videos.

3. How Videos Are Used

• Selected videos are imported so the app can prepare previews, trim ranges, and export clips.
• Joined or trimmed videos are saved locally on your device.
• The app does not upload your selected videos to a remote server.
• The app does not sell your videos or personal information.

4. Storage and Gallery Access

Video Cutter & Joiner uses Android system pickers so you can select videos from Photos/Gallery or Files. When you select a file, Android grants the app access to that selected item.

Exported videos are saved to your device's media storage, usually under Movies/Video Cutter Joiner. On Android 10 and newer, the app saves videos through Android MediaStore without requesting broad storage permission. On Android 9 and older, the app may request storage permission only when needed to save exported videos to the gallery.

5. Permissions

Depending on your Android version and the action you take, the app may use:

• Photos/Gallery or Files access: used only for videos you select.
• Storage permission on Android 9 and older: used to save exported videos to device storage.

6. Sharing Videos

If you tap a share button, Android's system share sheet lets you choose another app. The selected receiving app handles the shared video according to its own privacy policy.

7. Third-Party Services

This version of Video Cutter & Joiner does not include a paywall and does not require third-party payment services. If future versions add analytics, ads, cloud processing, subscriptions, or other third-party services, this policy will be updated before or when those features are released.

8. Children's Privacy

The app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Data Security

Your videos remain on your device unless you choose to share or move them using Android or another app. No method of electronic storage is perfect, so you should protect access to your device with your preferred device security settings.
